This summer our members and friends got together to share coffee and treats and view the lovely gardens the Diggin’ in the Dirt crew have maintained so well.

On June 13th we brought our lawn chairs and mugs to Terry Fox garden where the extensive peony collection and irises were putting on a show. It was a sunny day and many folks joined in including a few of our lively, elderly friends, Jean and Betty.

On July 18th we met in Templin Garden for our annual remembrance of members we have lost in the previous year. There were at least 40 folks in attendance on another beautiful summer day. Templin was looking lush and well cared for, our Allium sculpture glowed in the sunshine. The Township has replaced the Yew that came down last year with a 6 foot White Fir. It will be a joy to watch this tree grow and
thrive.
